Cooler Master 3D Printing Competition

This is a special sponsored competition in cooperation with our partner Cooler Master

General Information

The aim of this competition is to model and print one or multiple parts that can be attached to the QUBE 540 case from Cooler Master.

Creativity is king! You’re totally free in whether you choose to make something useful, funny, hilarious or want to add fancy demoscene design vibes to the case!

In order to get started you can use the following base models which give you the models for the mounts which then snap into the holes of the case. You’ll also find the full model for the case there.

General Rules and Information

  • All general rules of the regular Revision competitions apply
  • The entry may consist of either a single item or any number of parts that make up the full entry
  • The entry must be printed before the event and brought to Revision. If this is absolutely not doable for you in advance but you still want to take part in the competition, please get in touch with us early enough, to find out whether we can help you with printing it on-site.
  • For competition screening, we’ll prepare a short video showing the item(s) mounted to the case
  • We’ll have two of the cases on-site. After the competition you’re free (but not required to) to put the items there so that people can interact and play with them.

Submission and Technical Rules

  • Participants must submit a .ZIP file to PartyMeister that contains:
    • The model file(s) used for printing as either .STL or .3MF
    • A single merged file of the full case model with your item(s) on it as either .STL or .3MF
    • One or more photos of the printed item(s)
  • The added (unpacked) file size limit for all files of the item(s) is 100MB (this of course does not include the merged file)
  • If your item(s) require special arrangement or handling on the case please denote so when submitting to PartyMeister
  • The compo team will get in touch with you concerning the video recording for competition screening
